We will cycle cross-country over Muovaara Hill to the site of the forest Sami winter village. Our guide will tell you about the history of the ancient forest Sami people, about Finnish nature, wild berries, mushrooms and herbs. We will have a campfire picnic lunch and cycle back to Ollila.

We will pack the bikes into a raft that will take us over Lake Kuusamojärvi. When reaching the shore, we will continue by bike towards Salpa Line in Lahtela, where we will become part of the history of the Finnish Continuation War. On the way we will have campfire picnic lunch. We will continue by bike through Kuusamo town centre and small villages back to Ollila. On the way we will get to know the history, culture and stories of Kuusamo.

The famous River Kitkajoki landscapes are calling for you! Together with our partner Stella Polaris we organize a rafting trip of your dreams to the gorgeous River Kitkajoki. There are many options to choose from, for example Family Route, Wild Route and Long Route.

Join us for an amazing bear watching experience at the site of our partner Taiga Bear Kuusamo in Kuntivaara, right next to the eastern border of Finland.

Bears, white-tailed sea eagles, ravens and other birds visit the site every day. Our partners will take us to the natural environment of the animals.

The animals you see at the site are wild.

If necessary, you will be accompanied by a guide from Ollila, and we will organize transport.

Guided by local fishers, we will begin the search for giant pike. There is excitement ahead, a real battle with the mighty fish! The pike in this lake can be as large as 10 kg.

We will meet at Ollila Safari House and leave by car to the wilderness lake.

It will be a pleasant day in the midst of the rugged wilderness of Kuusamo. During the trip we will have lunch out in the open.

Our professional fishing guides will take you to the clear water lakes that surround us. The fishing methods to choose from are spinning and trolling. Our experienced guides will pick the best spots for the fishing method, in order for you to have the best possible fishing experience. During the day we will have a picnic lunch out in the open.
